Dr. Benjamin Flore-Walker
Dr. Benjamin Florie-Walker. Ben had been the official Town Crier for Alexandria, Virginia for the past 13 years. He is kept busy welcoming visitors to his city and averages three events every month.
Kathy-Ann Becker
Kathy-Ann Becker is another Crier from Massachusetts and represents the Town of Wendell. She traces her ancestors back to the early settlers of the Connecticut Valley, some of whom settled in Wendell and has written about one of her ancestors, Mary Bliss Parsons, who was accused of being a witch. Spoiler Alert: She was found innocent. Kathy-Ann considers Town Crying to be a reminder of the tradition of making democracy work at the local level and is always looking for opportunities to continue the tradition.
