Dr. John H. Mather
Dr. John H Mather is the designated Town Crier for the Franklin Heritage Foundation, Tennessee, and declaims at all formal functions including, in the City of Franklin, TN, Veteran's Day and Dickens of a Christmas. He is a physician executive and currently a Mentor for the Veterans Treatment Court in Franklin TN. He is a Knights Templar and Chirurgeon for the Priory of St. Andrews and an Episcopalian. Kathy-Ann Becker
Kathy-Ann Becker is another Crier from Massachusetts and represents the Town of Wendell. She traces her ancestors back to the early settlers of the Connecticut Valley, some of whom settled in Wendell and has written about one of her ancestors, Mary Bliss Parsons, who was accused of being a witch. Spoiler Alert: She was found innocent. Kathy-Ann considers Town Crying to be a reminder of the tradition of making democracy work at the local level and is always looking for opportunities to continue the tradition.
