CALLING ALL CRIERS!!!
To help celebrate our country’s 250th birthday, Fair Lawn will be hosting an international Town Crier Competition. Fair Lawn is a great town located a short distance from NYC with a rich colonial history.

Criers from all guilds are welcome to attend. We will also be hosting a Junior Town Crier Academy for all interested Fair Lawn students. This will take place from October 2 through October 4, 2026. The training for the junior Criers will take place on October 2 and 3 and the competition for all will be on Sunday October 4th. I am asking all criers to assist with training our Junior Criers. We have had tremendous interest and the community is looking forward to seeing these young men and women learn more about
history and help us relive some of our country’s past. Meet and Greet will be on Friday evening and the Awards Dinner will be Sunday evening.

We have some wonderful plans for all the Criers that I think you will truly enjoy. We have hotel rooms set at a newly renovated Marriott where the price is$149.oo per night and you will be reimbursed at least half of that amount, possibly even more, we still
have donations coming in. Please let me know if you wish to attend and I will forward you the details as the enrollment is complete.
